What is Covered by Parts A, B, C, D of Medicare?

Medicare is a federal health insurance plan that's generally accessible to US residents when they reach age 65. Medicare is also broken into four parts: A, B, C, and D. Here's a quick breakdown of what's covered for each of the parts of Medicare. Medicare Part A Medicare Part A is one of the Original Medicare options. It's designed to cover inpatient hospital care, as well as medically necessary home health services, skilled nursing, and hospice care.
